This is a story that was written for the Elf Lust Yahoo Group. It is a non-slash pairing involving Legolas and Haldir, and is written in movie verse as per the requirements of the challenge. The song lyrics were provided by the webmistress and the story is based on them. This story is Legolas' reflections on Haldir after his death at Helm's Deep. The structure and style were an experiment for me.
