I love this. Aragorn's memories of Imladris are so tranquil and beautiful it's a wonder he could ever tear himself away.

You have some wonderfully evocative descriptions in this - I could feel myself in Imladris, or on that quiet country road!

There is a special friendship that appears to grow between Boromir and Pippin, after all.

Wonderful thoughts here. And it is in the end through the protection of the two younger Hobbits Boromir finds his redemption.

Author Reply: Thank you. I love the Boromir and Pippin friendship.

Ah, one of the greatest friendships ever to build out of shared intent and experiences. And I've always loved the shared final voyage!

Author Reply: Thank you. Yes, that shared final voyage was a lovely idea of Tolkien's.

It is those who do not seek power for its own sake who best deserve it and use it most wisely, it's been found.

Excellent imagery in looking at what he DOES seek.

Author Reply: Thanks, Larner. Just letting you know that these 3 pieces will now be moving into my drabble collection - I hadn't realised I shouldn't have posted them separately.

How sweet and how sad. What a great burden it would be to be Boromir born again.

Excellent! I love seeing this side of Boromir. Most writers seem to ignore his more noble side.

I loved this! Eowyn handled this like a true wife would! Go Eowyn!

This was so very sad and you have to wonder just how many famlies were torn asunder like this. Poor little one alone in the world now. I wonder if the child survived or if any of its family did.

The Golden Flower drabble was beautiful. Very proud and very sad.
