Nicely done. I like the image of Glorfindel in Arwen's room amid all the feminine finery. And his handling of the twins was gently done. They'll be better off for thinking about Arwen and their grandparents. I wonder what disease is killing the sea creatures. Sweet little boy. Author Reply: Hopefully the plot will begin to show more in the next part. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Daw!

oooh! Glorfindel has a romantic interest in the form of a good friend of old, down there in Mithlond! That's great! I must say that I like this pestering Glorfindel a lot, and I can see Erestor easing his departure by ordering his things packed, his horse saddled and making sure that his lord sees him off and grants his a loooong leave. And I like the healer, too. Is she an OC from other stories of yours? Author Reply: Yep, with the twins and Glorfindel gone they can enjoy some well-deserved rest! Bronwe is an OC from Until We Rise (sounds like a doughy story, huh?) who just carried over. Thank you for the review and for reading!

I remember this! Vaguely it is true - but I'm so glad you're taking it up again. I like Bronwe - and so does Glorfindel! Poor Elrond. Celebrian sailed, the twins half-mad with grief, Arwen off to Lothlorien. It's a wonder he survived this time. I look forward to more. Author Reply: Elrond definitely deserves the healing, rest and recognition I think he receives when he finally sails! I'm sure there were times he held the thought of being reunited with Celebrian to keep him going. Thanks so much, Bodkin!

I like the lightness of these two bantering together... despite the subject underlying their conversation. I´m looking forward to seeing more of Glorfindel "thinking of his life" while he pesters Cirdan in Mithlond...:-) Author Reply: Yes, he has a lot of thinking to do, and Cirdan is good for putting a person on the spot, so we'll see just how comfortable a visit Glorfindel has. ;) Thank you, Perelleth!

Oh, this is great! What a wonderful exchange between Glorfindel and Elrond - and I loved Glorfindel's private musings. The glimpse of the twins was fun - how typical of them to tightrope walking over the falls. It was nice of Elladan to rescue his twin so promptly! ;) More, please. Jay Author Reply: Thank you, Jay :) I think Elladan would have let Elrohir dangle indefinitely -- nothing like a captive audience! Hope it doesn't disappoint as we go on.

These two still amuse me with their easy friendship and camaraderie. They know each other so well, and it comes through nicely. I am so glad to see you pursuing this and finishing it. My inner Glorfindel fangirl cheers! Author Reply: Thank you for taking the task up of beta'ing and listening to me natter on about it! Glorfindel basks in attention, doesn't he? So, don't neglect him too long...*hint, hint*

Ooooo! Very good! I like this. I read the old version a loooong time ago. I'm am enjoying this retelling of the tale. Please do continue. In the meantime, I'll go pop some popcorn and get a glass of tea. I'll be ready for you to continue when you are. Author Reply: Thanks, Ellie! :) I hope it won't disappoint as we go on. Updates will slow now, but I promise this time it will be complete. Enjoy the popcorn and tea!

Boy. I think I read this before but it was long ago. Still, Bronwe sounds familiar. This is good though, Levade. It's easy reading which means you've got the language just right. I look forward to whatever Glorfindel has in store. Author Reply: It is old, but hopefully is better for the time I was gone. Thank you for reading, Daw!
