I have had time to sit and catch up at last - and I am really enjoying this story - it is a fascinating concept and, as always, beautifully written.

I stumbled upon your story and I'm captivated. It's great. I hope there will be peace and will have the heart to come near the dragon. (I'n not a native speaker,so please excuse the mistakes.)

At least Fu Nung is now in the best of hands as Aragorn takes over his care! Poor guy!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Fu Nung certainly could not be in better hands!

Of course, poor Aragorn is barely believed by Arwen, who doesn't hold with even the idea of a friendly dragon - understandable in Earendil's granddaughter. And Faramir's family thinks he's nuts!

Good chapter! Tolerance does not come easily, even to the wise.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. No,it is not surprising Arwen does not believe in friendly dragons.I guess I'd feel the same if someone told me they had met a friendly tiger !

And why to I suspect that matters will come to a head long before Eldarion becomes a grandparent, eh? Heh! Poor Arwen and Eowyn will hopefully have their own skepticism dealt with properly, and soon. And glad that Faramir is recovering so swiftly.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Yes, you guess rightly, Gondor will have to deal with dragons before Eldarion is much older!Faramir is lucky to have Aragorn at hand to help him recover swiftly.

In this is Faramir proving more wise than his friend the King. Let Aragorn follow Faramir's advice--and soon! Now--to find out what became of his rider!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I thought it would be interesting to write a story in which Faramir proves the wiser of the two!All will eventually be revealed.

Now, that will be distressing to their lady wives, seeing the horses return without them. And Eastern dragons were always thought to be lucky to know, unlike Western ones. Glad a few escaped Morgoth's influence!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I fear our heroes wives have much to endure, none of which there accident prone husbands intend!

I admit I only researched Eastern dragons after reading Naomi Norvik's enjoyable stories.

Love the dragon's dialogue, especially with Aragorn, and the reference to Anduril, Flame of the West, as a pin. It's rather humbling, as well as humorous, for Aragorn to meet someone not in awe of him.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed Aragorn's conversation with the dragon. It is maybe good for Aragorn to meet his match sometimes!THanks again for all your help.

Good to see the story here! Our heroes really have bad luck; seeking shelter from the storm only to end up meeting something much bigger and more dangerous than a friendly kitty. And it's definitely not happy to meet them!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I think Aragorn and Faramir must be the unluckiest duo ever in finding places to shelter!
