| “Oh my stars!” he exclaimed. That was my reaction, too ;-) Hildifons Took, the brother of Isengar, who went away never to return. Their generation was even more adventurous than others, it seems. I'm looking forward to finding out why Hildifons never came back, which is rather untypical for hobbits who love their homeland dearly! Author Reply: Yes, it was, wasn't it?
