Oh, how I feel for the poor dwarf! This will be torture for poor Bombur, and such a delight for us!

Oh dear, this is too funny! Hmph! Just a one fowl and just a loaf of bread. Yep, Bombur is going to wasts away pretty fast. And carrots? Carrots! Poor Bombur - that is not my idea of dessert either. Although the addition of butter does make 'em sound tasty. -Kitt

LOLOL! *grin* Poor Bombur! Of course, the Dwarves aren't going about it very scientifically. *giggle* I wonder what they'd make of all the hundreds of diet books in the world today? But I do have to agree on one thing: carrots and a pickle are not the most pleasant of desserts! And I loved how sympathetic Bilbo was: "I've never done it--voluntarily..." Oh my, this is so funny!

Yay! What fun, more Bilbo and the Dwarves! I just love the interactions among them all. Please keep it up!

*grin* I am grinning like a loon. I do so love your Bilbo--and poor Bombur! When even a hobbit thinks he's eating too much, well, it's definitely a good indicator that a small change might be in order! I loved the interactions you have between Bilbo and the Dwarves--this is so delightful!

Oooh, I LOVE Bombur; next to Thorin he is my favorite of the Company. He is as good-natures (and dense) as ever. He should have an honor bestowed upon him by being able to eat more than a hobbit. You are good at making a fun and brisk narrative, sprinkled with "bites" of description. I am very happy to have found this today! -Kitt : )

Poor Bombur. His only delight is eating and he should have restrain himself for heath's sake. Although, out-eating a hobbit is no small feat, I guess. :))

Poor Bombur--finally reaching the prophesized excess weight! Heh! And we wonders what ripped, we do.

Ah, our Bombur is being particularly, and probably intentionally, dense today, isn't he? And when even a Hobbit can't keep up, there IS a problem! Heh!
