Ah, poor Bombur, I quite like raw cabbage! Lynda

Now, this is insulting--slaw as a snack! And after all that work! Poor Bombur--love the description of him as a jelly in a bag--a worthy comparison for a Hobbit! Heh! Nah, no need for these Dwarves to make it to the inn for their evening pint, perhaps; but Bombur has achieved dimensions to impress even a Hobbit! Heh!

"Every time I think about eating I eat. It's much simpler." - Too true!! I guess that the exercise did not got all according to plan. Such a whiner our round Dwarf is. Bilbo's observance of Bombur's movement was hilarious. I never thought to bring tea out on a walk; if it were not so hot I'd take a cue from Bilbo. I am chorkling myself silly over the ending. Cabbage. My, my. I just got done with a cookie myself and I feel very bad for him. Of course Bombur isn't too disgusted not to eat it.

Poor Bombur--a healthy lifestyle just ISN'T for him! How delightful! Now, to see how the walk went....

I chuckled pretty hard in this chapter. Bombur is sure the whiner! Frankly, this made me hungry. "Stop talking about me as if I weren't here," Bombur complained. - my favorite line. I cannot wait to see how this walk turns out. *g* Kitt

Ah--most delightful! And Bilbo is wise enough to let him have something, at least. Love the conversation with the stomach! Such wonderful comments it makes! Heh!

This is so much fun. And as someone who is trying not to turn into Bombur herself I do feel for him!

Oh, this is the funniest chapter yet, from Bombur's conversation with his stomach to Bifur's fright at Bilbo's appearance (I splorked at the line "What do you want me to wear a wig to wake you up?" LOLOLOL!) And then catching Bombur in the act: all the time when Bifur was confronting him, I kept wonderting where Bilbo was. I should have known. And then--Bilbo's little bit of soft-heartedness at the end, just made me go "awww...." I do love your Bilbo so much!

I have been enjoying this jolly tale immensely! Poor Bombur, it is hard to learn new eating habits...really hard...I haven't learned yet! Hugs, Neilia

Oh, bad, bad Bombur! His conversations with his stomach are wonderful... no, maybe disturbing. *g* Lucky that Bilbo woke; geesh, Bifur and Bofur do have their hands full. Bilbo really should be more careful about whose sleep he intrudes. (He has quite a bad history of it). Ha, Bilbo is too clever. His appearence in Bombur's room gave me a jump. *laughing* Very nice of the former Burgler to slip Bombur the pie. By the way, I love the chapter titles. -Kitt : )
