| Sweet chapter! Poor Strider ... no one giving him a straight answer when he wants to know what's wrong with him, and still dizzy. I'm feeling miserable on his behalf. Maybe Frodo would like lemon-water better if someone added a bit of sugar. ;) Author Reply: Poor Strider, all those non-answers are probably making him even dizzier. Yes, now someone needs to realize that a bit of sugar or honey would make that drink much more palatable. :) | |

| Aha! So that's where we Brits got the idea of drinking tea with lemon from :) But that now begs the question do Hobbits drink tea black or with milk? Author Reply: Yes, you can thank Frodo for introducing tea-with-lemon to all of Britain! Clever hobbit. :) | |

| What a fun chapter! Gimli invents bunk beds! *grin* I love all the little hobbity interactions here--just delightful! I had a feeling all along that Pippin wasn't really asleep--and lo and behold, he wasn't, LOL! And poor confused Aragorn. He's just not used to being sick, is he? It's a good thing his brothers are there as well as his hobbits. The picture of Elladan carrying him was wonderful! Frodo doesn't like lemonade? I'm surprised! But apparently Sam's really taking to it! Author Reply: Alas, lemon-water is not exactly lemonade -- no sweetener! Sam and Pippin have more of a taste for 'sour' things than Frodo, apparently. This was a fun, banter-y chapter to write. Glad you enjoyed it. :) | |
