An Alphabet for Middle-earth  by Dreamflower 235 Review(s)

I'm finally here! :-)

You know...after reading this most lovely tale, I have a feeling (a good one!) that there is another story behind this one that is *screaming* to be told. *hint, hint!* ;-)

Author Reply: It's possible--I'll have to see if the bunny tells me any more...

Oo, that's a bit chilling, because of course they did have to worry about it in the end. I love the titles you come up with! :)
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Yes, I thought that might be a little ironical. I see this as being maybe just a day or so after the Council, before they really understood what was ahead of them, and how they would face the kind of dangers they would face.

Actually, I can't take credit for the titles. Those are from the prompts, at the LJ Community there_n_back, which is posting one a day this month, in celebration of "Back to Middle-earth month".

Very enjoyable,you write Arwen well.

I'm trying this challenge too but very much doubt I can write something for each prompt.

Author Reply: Thank you! I don't believe I've written of her very often, so it's good to know you think I got her right.

I'm going to give it a good shot--as long as the prompts don't get too outlandish, I may be able to get something for each one. *crosses fingers very tightly*

Oh that was sweet! Oo! I would *not* want to get on the wrong side of Arwen Undomiel! LOL! Great story!
Namarie,
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Author Reply: Heavens no! I think it would not be a good idea at all!

Aaaawww! *melts* I absolutely love it, Dreamflower! Yes, I would not want Arwen angry with me.
“She said she wanted you to be forgiven because her parents would wish it, and most of all, she said, because her Uncle Frodo would have wished it.”

Haleth looked at the halfling maiden, as she came to stand before her. “I--I’m sorry…”

Elanor smiled at her, and opened her arms in comfort. “That’s all right. You won’t do it any more.”

Arwen watched as they embraced, the tiny hobbit lass patting the other girl comfortingly on the back. Haleth looked up once more, and was surprised to see
a look of pride there now.

Oh yes. Elanor is certainly her parents' daughter, through and through. :) And 'Uncle Frodo' would be proud of her, I think. :)
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: No--one has to remember that Arwen is Galadriel's granddaughter, and probably learned everything she needed to know about the uses of righteous anger at her grandmother's knee!

And I cannot imagine Elanor growing up to be anything less than a sweet, forgiving, and lovely person, with the example she had before her.
