| Well, we got three of our four lads back together again. I loved Sam's reaction to Merry asking all those questions about the medical procedures - you don't want to know! lol Poor Frodo really had a time of it. Whatever little amount of healing he's managed to do since Mt. Doom has just been obliterated. Hobbits may be hardier than the average man or dwarf, but he still has a long road to recovery. And Merry finally puts his finger on the reason for Pippin's disappearance, or at least he has half of it figured out. Oh, his reaction to Aragorn's news is going to be so angsty! I can't wait for the next chapter, and to find out what's happening on the Pippin front. :) | |

| Oh, dear, dear! Pippin's still missing, Frodo is frightened for him and will not be easy when he wakes (poor dear, I'd howl too), poor Merry is exhausted, and now something *else* is wrong! I know I'll rue this question terrible :), but what else *can* go wrong if they're all to come out alive? I hope that after all this they all get to have a long sleep and a cozy few days together. Even though I sometimes think I'm going to go absolutely mad with suspense, I love, love, love this as much as ever!! I just love your Elrond; he's amusing in his own way, though I'd never dream of laughing at him face to face. Please update again soon! God bless, Galadriel | |
