Oh, dear! The queen of the cliffhanger strikes again! Poor Pippin! Poor Frodo! Poor me who has to wait for the next chapter!

I'm really enjoying this story. I especially like the way you write Elladan and Elrohir, who have always been my favourite characters. They're skilled, deadly warriors, powerful elf-lords, but caring and understanding at the same time. It makes a wonderful change from all the stories where they are idiotic practical jokers. And I just love Elladan's horse! Poor Pippin, though - there may be one less orc to worry about, but that's not much comfort. Jay

And so the tension is raised to ever greater heights! Can it go any higher without one of your readers bursting a blood vessel? *g* Absolutely brilliant use of the palantir. And I think it is great the way that it recognises Pippin. And you made my heart wrench with the sudden distance between Gandalf and Aragorn.

Well - we know where Sam and Frodo are. Elrond's stentorian screaming is bringing Elladan, Elrohir, Merry and thug to their side. One orc has been disposed of by his fellow-nasties - but Pippin is still out there! And suffering in the hands of two with a taste for fingers! And, although it's a good thing that Aragorn has used the Palantir to discover his whereabouts - he is right at the top of the White City and Pippin is right at the bottom. And there's no telephone system. Rescue the hobbit!

*squirms* Oh, another cliff-hanger! One of these days I'm going to write a fic with lots and lots of them, and when I do it will be dedicated to you! Ha ha! :) But it's good that they now know where Pippin is. Interesting that Aragorn decided to use the Palantir. I was afraid they wouldn't find him in time! Now if they can just get to him before the Orcs do something horrible to him! God bless, Galadriel
