| Sweet. I leave a review yesterday, and get a chapter today. Now that's service. >_< Wonderful chapter- as soon as I read Halladan had turned to 'cry', I thought something might be up. He doesn't sound like someone who would greive in public, even if it was with Penny and Arvain. Keep em coming! I want to see more! Author Reply: Glad you liked it! :D Halladan isn't the sort to grieve in public at all, you are right. He is very open and up front - calls a spade 'a spade' as we say here in the UK - but when it comes to emotions he keeps it all under wraps and struggles to put a brave face on things. 'Stiff upper lip' and all that. However, in such a moment - when emotions are raw and there are extenuating circumstances - emotions (or tears) can overwhelm you in spite of yourself. That's what both Penny and Arvain assumed had happened, and that Halladan, being one who normally would not show such emotion, had turned away while he tried to bring himself under control. :) | |
