| Once again you have created a wonderful chapter. That scene at the beginning with Pippin and Gimli on watch was so sweet. I know Gimli would never admit it, but he has a very large soft spot for the hobbits, and I suspect Pippin in particular. You really fleshed out that moment on the river where they reach the rapids. That is a very frightening moment that the good Professor just kind of glossed over. We never got to see much of the Fellowship's reaction once Legolas shot down the Nazgul. I still wonder what was going through Merry's mind after such a near miss. And what about Pippin? He almost saw his best friend shot, and he has to realize just how easily it could have been himself. Oh, so many questions, so little time. Thanks for an update. I really am enjoying this one a lot. Garnet Took. | |
