| Oh you really have such a gift for turning the mood of a piece. This is marvellous GA. I can just see and smell the dust and to see Faramir learning the Springle-Ring is great! Author Reply: Thanks! I like the challenge of telling a story in a set length. This one is exactly 500 words--a bit long for a real challenge, but Raksha wanted something specific for her birthday (Faramir on history, languages, music, lore). G.A. | |

| I've just read this on HASA as well. Lovely ficlet. I particularly love Pippin's comment: “They all have the same name,” Pippin said. “Ar-this, Ar-that, and Ara-something.” “Do you know why?” “Lack of imagination?” Wonderful! And the image of Faramir and Pippin dancing the Springle-ring together (a pretty dance, but rather vigorous) is priceless. Thank you for this.
