| Another new story! Now I have two to look forward to the updates :-) Poor Mellor, I wonder how he was injured. Hopefully the ruffians who killed Ted haven't anything to do with it, it would mean trouble for the Shire, I fear. But then, with two Rangers, Merry and Pippin they aren't so defenceless any longer ... and poor Eradan, waiting in vain and not knowing what has happened! I hope Merry and Pippin go to look for him. Loved it how apprehensive Mellor was after he knew where he was - without permission. As if he had anything to say about it! And his struggle with the tiny dishes was nice. Can't wait for more! Author Reply: Well, I've another chapter up now! The Shire's definitely not helpless anymore, and Merry and Pippin are only a part of that. It just seemed to me it might be difficult to eat with hobbit sized dishes. Kind of like a grown up playing with a child's sized tea set. | |

| Interesting. Can't wait to see where this goes. And I loved Ilbie's confession that there were lots of hobbits waiting to keep watch on the Ranger, lol. Poor guy must feel like the main event. Author Reply: Yes, I think after the visits of the King's Men in the spring, that the young hobbits of Buckland have a serious case of hero worship going for the Rangers. They'd take any chance they could get to spend time with him. | |
