I can understand how you feel, Shrimpy Barrel. I vividly picture things to the point of having too much description in my stories. Cliffhanger much? ;)

I love your description of Merry! Merry is a very responsible and bright child... and quite inquisitive It is fascinating to read the possible beginning of the verse Bilbo wrote about Aragorn, that played such a role in FOTR. Eager for more!

Merry is such a good host! I love the friendship between the Rangers and these hobbits, and how Aragorn "thinks" he is 62. Hee! :) Now I'm just waiting for the Frodo-comfort when he awakens :D

A nice chapter, Shirebound! And I just loved this sentence: “But Frodo has something else... something that’s... he’s very...” He sighed. “It’s difficult to put my finger on it.” “I know what you mean.” Couldn't have said it any better ;-) Now let's wait for Frodo to wake up and hope, he won't feel ill. But after all, he's in the hands of one of the best healers in all of ME!

Merry is such a sweet host :) It's so much like him not to leave their guests alone. No wonder the rangers grow so fond of hobbits. Who wouldn't?

I have decided that your stories are like chicken soup for the soul (to borrow a famous phrase). When one is feeling a little under the weather and shivery, it is truly delightful to have such gentle, cozy stories to read. Hobbits, blankets, friendship... all wonderful to have for comfort and warmth.

A lovely quiet interlude. I could feel the warmth and comfort of Crickhollow.

*happy sigh* Glad they're home safe and sound. Now let's hope that Frodo wakes feeling well rather than ill, but where would the story be in that? ;D
