Force of Nature  by shirebound 14 Review(s)

I do enjoy the way that you stick close to canon with just enough variation for new characters and adventures. Loving your answer to your own plot bunny - hope we get to see the writing of the actual poem and, eventually Aragorn's reaction to it! I am not an author but, if you have lost your bunny, he is hopping around the swimming pool and gym that I go to. (The only space I have for thinking and day dreaming). I promise that I take him carrots regularly!

This was perfect, Janet! I loved every bit of it. And I must admit I shivered just a bit when Frodo - or rather, the trees - started to talk. I like the way you put the line of the poem in. Deep roots are not reached by the frost... :)

“Deep roots are not reached by the frost, eh? I’ll have to remember that.”

Oh, Shirebound! This is just the kind of thing I love about your writing. You remember those lovely details from the books and weave them into your stories so naturally and with such a joy and obvious love of the books. I don't think I've ever read of any other fanfic writer who can do the same.

Oooh, that was just chilling to hear nature speak through Frodo! I didn't expect that at all, but I really loved it! Now I just hope that Frodo will have an easy recovery...with lots of soft pillows and blankets and cuddling ;)
