| Oh, no! Poor Frodo! I`m glad Aragorn is with them, healser as he is. He`s going to have his hands full with both a injured Ranger and now possibly Frodo. Also, I loved the little scene where Merry takes Bilbo`s hand. He`s still jsut a little lad and needs the grown up`s reassurance. Lovely! :) | |

| Well, Scamp certainly is a very good guard, but even she did not scent the danger of the thorns! It must be an ancient evil, like Old Man Willow in FotR. Let's hope they will reach the forest gate in time. But what will happen, if they are too late? Frodo does not yet know the danger he's in... A well written chapter full of growing suspense! Can't wait for more! | |

| This is such a wonderful chapter! I love the interaction between the Rangers, and how Halbarad already is protective of Frodo. You do such a great job here with showing the creepiness of the Forest, and I love how Merry is suddenly glad to be staying behind with Frodo (though I wonder how long that will last ;)). But those bones, eek. I want to hear more about them :) | |

| I have been waiting and waiting for this update and the withdrawal symptoms were getting pretty painful. so thanks for updating. I love the way that sef-assured merry wants an adventure, but when the reality is closer is quite happy to wait behind. It highlights just how must he is willing to risk later, for love of Frodo. What kind of bribe do you need for quick updates? | |
