Yes, our Sam.

Author Reply: I love Sam as much as i love our Frodo. :)

Nice thoughts of comfort for one who's been lonely too long.

Author Reply: I want Frodo to feel loved~but indeed it's curious to think why Tolkien would have him a bachelor given that he's lost his family for so long of a time... Friends could do so much but i think a family for Frodo would've been quite interesting ... Perhaps TOlkien didn't want him to have any "strings attached" when he goes on his Quest so therefore left him single ... still i love a peaceful Frodo too--he really deserves it. :)

Nice moment for Faramir.

Author Reply: I'm always curious about what he thought--and how he would think that Eowyn would help him ease his pain of losing his brother and father as well... (which is an idea for another story...which i want to read/write.) =)

Unfortunately, I can see this. Poor Sam.

Author Reply: It would be interesting to read a fic that focuses on the healing of Samwise--for he has gone through almost as much as Frodo has and needs some love and care too. ::forces the story idea to you:: ;) ;)

Shuddering at Saruman's final thoughts, the nasty git!

Author Reply: It wasn't fun getting into Saruman's mind but yes, he indeed is a nasty git! :p :/

The bluff doubted, and the delight expressed.

A gentle look at the final thoughts.

Author Reply: I'm always hopeful when i watch "The End of All Things" part... the Quest is done, and they've saved Middle-Earth... though obviously it was doubtful for them whether they would be alive...
I like peaceful hobbits as much as angsty ones. :)

Close to the near despair Sam felt in the book.

Author Reply: Rereading it, i can definitely think that i could up the angst bit a bit more.
But thanks so much for your thoughts. :)

Few underestimate the worth of life than the young and idealistic who have little direct understanding of how grief and joy work together.

Author Reply: It was very interesting to write that for i've never thought in that way-- but that scene from the movies is so profound for me and Eowyn's feelings have not been explored so much so i decided to have a go at it. :) grief and joy work together that is a very interesting thought.

A good motivation for Theoden to speak as he did. Theoden's love for Eowyn is one thing I felt the movie expressed better than the book did.

Author Reply: I very much agree~ that scene reduces me to tears and makes me go "awww" to no end every time i view it. "I would have you smile again, not grieve for those who's time has come." i so love this quote. =)
