Life in the Angle  by Leaward 175 Review(s)
RhapsodyReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 2/7/2005
I am getting the popcorn. Already I have so many questions roaming freely through my mind. Why does Haldor stay in the old house? Does he keep company there? Why did he slightly panic about it? What is Herudil going on about when he glances over to Haldon while he says he got distracted? Is Haldon's secret elf that lives at Rivendell? Ok, I am really rambling now and most likely some plotbunnies got hatched...

Oh my goodness, they're already married! Looks like I might be reading this story on OS sooner than I thought. *Laughs as he leaves Leaward to figure what he means*

ROFLMFAO at the back strain comment! Though I think he'll at least wait until he gets her back to the angle, right? I mean, if I was him, there's be no way I'd.... I mean, under Henry's roof and all...

But yeah, they do hardly know each other. He *was* rushing a bit, wasn't he? I mean, I understand the reasoning and all... It's just.... when you consider what is common sense... I don't know. But I'm happy for him, and I'll say I hope it works out, though knowing *you* it probably won't go so smoothly at first. :)

*P.S. UPDATE SOON!*

SAME HERE! :-D

Author Reply: LMAO -- I understand the OS reference perfectly ... I have to make that decision on the next chapter (hint hint)! Although I'm trying to figure just how far I can push SoA's boundaries (and my readers') -- have been re-reading Campdon and Lufien to check that out!

And do you think Tarkil is going to wait? And he may not... um ... you know ... under Henry's roof, but I'm sure he'll find a way, especially with Haldon around to offer suggestions! And of course, things won't go smoothly! What a boring read that would be!

Oh my, poor silly silly male. Thinking once again that Poppi has been, how shall i say this, Spoilt? Men never do learn do they. A rushed weeding, hmm, yes, i do think it was the right thing to do all around. Like Tarkil, I don't trust that Henry wouldn't have found SOME way to separate them., (ooo, how is his poor back going to stand the strain of the wedding night?? OW!)

P.S. POST FASTER (wink)

Author Reply: What can I say, Tarkil is consistent in his flaws! As for the hasty wedding, LOL, I worried people would say 'No way' to it, (hence the title acknowledging I knew it wasn't normal) but then I started getting comments when Gethron suggested it in 2 of 31 and knew it would be accepted. LOL about the back strain on the wedding night!

Weee, I'm haveing so much fun reading this!! I can't wait till poppi meets elves. I"m rambling. a great start, great start indeed. How long do you think we can talk you into writing about the rangers? For a very long time i hope. I know this isn't a fantastically written review, but ah well. I'll leave those to the more eloquent of your readers, jUst know that I agree with them!!! (i'm the one in the back going, "yeah! what she/he said!"

Author Reply: Glad you're enjoying it -- and Welcome to the new story, B7! And don't worry about 'eloquence' I'm just thrilled when anyone admits to reading my stories. Your reviews always bring a smile to my face and make my day!

Poppi and elves .. hmmm, yes, she will eventually be convinced of the elves' existence. She is going to have quite an unusual introduction to them -- one she will never forget but it will not be for a few chapters yet.

My goodness Tarkil is dense sometimes! He's already accused her of being pregnant once! I suppose he's right that she could have been raped or married another, but his mind sure seems to be on her having a baby. He must love her though to take on Henry as a father-in-law. And they're well and truly married. :-)

Author Reply: My poor Tarkil dense? Daw! When a soldier comes home after nearly a year away to find his girlfriend with a newborn in her arms, he can do the math! And after hearing the talk in Rivendell of the Dunlanders still being around, and all the time he was in Gondor, he was worried that she'd been hurt, poor guy! Yet he still wanted to marry her! That's gallant, not dense! And yes, they're well and truly married! But they still hardly know each other ...

Author Reply: Sorry, Daw, didn't mean you to think I was jumping on you -- my reply was written to be very tongue-in-cheek! (I wish there was a way you could put inflection into the typing!) Tarkil's a guy! He is obtuse sometimes!
