| What a wonderful story. I do love happy endings! “I always know when you are there when I am sick. Did you feel I was there too?” Pippin said, his voice muffled from his face being buried in Merry`s shoulder. “Yes I did. | Oh Anso! What a beautiful ending to a sweet story! It's just perfect: all Merry's loved ones there, as he gradually gets better. I giggled at the pillow fight, and got all teared up at the end. | I wonder if the dreams will stay with Merry, so that Parth Galen will feel like deja vu. It's good to see Merry back to looking after his little cousin. Author Reply: Yes, Merry is back to his good old self now, looking after Pip. I don`t know if he will remember the dreams, since everyone is asking I might write that story some day... A great finish... Merry is reunited with his parents,and is on the mend. I loved the ending with Merry and pippin running to the old oae tree,as they talk of promises,and always being there for one another. You could feel the emotion and love they hold for each other. Great Job.... Author Reply: Thank you! They love eachother dearly you know and now that Merry is well again he is back to looking after Pip. :) | |

| What a wonderful story! I just happened upon it and read it all in one sitting! I love all the angst! Worried-Pippin is so sweet, doing everything he can to take care of his poor sick Merry. The scene where he strokes Merry's cheek, and then his hand gets stuck--that was so adorable! You write all the hobbits so well! I can't wait for the next chapter! Author Reply: Thank you! Merry is starting to recover. You get to know what pippin is thinking as he has been so worried,but he is feeling better since Merry is up and talking. merry's parents will be there soon,and he has missed them a lot. Pippin thinks of the days ahead and what kind of adventures they will see. Love it.. Author Reply: Merry`s on the mend and that is a great relief to his family. Thank you! | |

Very nice... Frodo is sitting with Merry as he is ill. He seems to get worse all of the sudden...Everyone is clustered around him as they fear the worse. Pippin is frightened but his mother trys to encouage him saying he will be well soon... Good job... | |

Yes, I always thought Pippin would be the splashing of water type, Tolkien did put that into my mind himself, lol, but lads are lads so Merry would want to do that too, as he is feeling bette. | |

| Oh! That's such a comforting chapter. And our Merry deserves it! He's been through hard times. It's quite interesting, that Merry still remembers his dreams about the forest and the Orcs. Will he remember it again, when he really has to let Frodo go? What do you think? Author Reply: I don`t know if he will remember his dreams again. I tend to wind older stories into new ones so who knows? Maybe, if I write about that day at Parth Galen that he will. Yes, Merry deserves some rest and calm now. Thank you! | |
