| A sweet moment between Hobbit and Lady, and a blessed charge he has laid on her. Dear, sweet, Pippin and his caring, and his desire to do the little he can for Frodo. Author Reply: Thank you. I always think of Pippin as a sweet and loving soul. To me, he is closest in personality to Frodo of the other three hobbits, though of course he has a good deal more impulsive Took in him, and his early years were not tempered by grief. | |
