It Takes a Took  by Dreamflower 12 Review(s)

*lol*
Knowing what is to come, I thought it quite funny how Merry asked Diamond all this questions! He is really very caring about his Pippin, even if Pippin doesn't need it! I think our brave knight of Gondor can manage this yourself. In this Frodo is right. But he cannot change Merry.
From the first glimpse I think Diamond will make a good wife of the future Thain of the Shire!

Author Reply: When it comes to either one of his cousins, Merry is pretty much incapable of minding his own business. Sometimes this is a good thing--such as with the conspiracy; sometimes it is not good, but it *is* very Merry, LOL!

I'm glad you think Diamond will make Pippin a good wife, since that's her fate!

Thanks for the review!

I love seeing Merry chat Diamond up to determine if she's suitable for Pippin. Merry really does have a strong need to take care of Pippin. Now, if he'll just let Pip do his own courting...

You did a good job of incorporating the idea of the round robin into the chapter. It's great to see it showing up somewhere.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Author Reply: LOL! Can't you just see him hovering over Pippin's shoulder, and Pippin turning to say "Do you *mind*?" Or trying to give Pip advice on what to say and how to say it a la Cyrano de Bergerac?

I liked our little round robin, and thought that it would be the kind of little story that Diamond, as a healer, would find interesting. I hope we can get the new one going--it's really been lanquishing.

Thank you! And thanks for the review!
