| Very interesting beginning. The idea that Legolas and Arwen would be a good couple is so blindingly obvious that there must be a good reason why it never happened. You seem to be coming up with a very convincing explanation. And I can't wait to see Legolas spar with Glorfindel. Since you asked for constructive criticism, please allow me to make one exceedingly nitpicking point: millennia (note that it has two l's and two n's) is plural. The singular is millennium. | I love the interaction between Legolas, Glorfindel, and the other Mirkwood warriors. Estel's interest in them is natural, I think. How embarrassing to have Elrond catch him sort of spying on them. | Hello! I am really enjoying what you have so far of this story... it is very well written and engaging. I especially enjoy the relationships you have built between the elves of Imladris and Legolas. Also, I like your OC Aerhos! Ha! He entertains me. Anyway, I am eagerly anticipating your next chapter! Just out of curiosity, how old is your Legolas in this story? Everyone has different ideas on how old he is! Author Reply: Hi! Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad you like Aerhos. I was worried that he would be too typical of OC Elves. The age I'm going with is the movie-age. I tend to agree with a younger Legolas, but for this story I didn't feel that a 500-something age worked. And since Tolkien never says, I can't be wrong! | |
