| Oh, Yay! Hobbits cooking, and a recipe! I love those kinds of stories! What was very nice was the opening, with Merry and Sam watching out so closely for the convalescing Frodo, trying to get him not to overdo. The only thing that seemed a bit out of character at first was Aragorn's irritation over the poem--seemed like the kind of thing he'd be more amused at than angry. But when Pippin told what it had said, about him going off and leaving Arwen, well, then I could see why it struck a nerve. And the secret ingredient bit--absolutely classic! A very fun story and very hobbity. | |
