| Oh no! Not so soon after Legolas' last brush with death! (I'm only kidding for you know I love angst, right? ;) Heh, heh) I knew it, see, I told you...that walk was *not* gonna be a good thing! Arrrrg! I wish we knew what was going on with Leggy! He's gonna be so shocked when he realizes he's been betrayed! *sob* Poor him! And poor Leggy's brothers and Adar. The possibility they may lose him so soon after they *almost* lost him has got to be sheer torture for that family! I hope Aldeon rescues Leggy...in the nick of time of course...and not before Leggy gets a few owies...ok, make that, *big* owies! *wiggles eyebrows at author* ;) Great chapter. I loved how Tavaro thought the servants made more todo about pomp and ceremony than the royal family themselves do. LOL It really showed how humble and down to earth this family is. They always put their people and their kingdom ahead of their own needs and desires. *sigh* They're so noble! :) Ok, enough pbtpppbbbtt on my part! LOL Hurry with the next chappy! :) I'll be waiting. :) Author Reply: I think there is going to be angst for all around here. I just hope that I don't overdo it. I like the idea of a down-to-earth Royal Family. After all, Legolas never went around broadcasting that he was royalty either in the books or in the movies so I figured he must had a less than pompous upbringing. | Uh oh. I'm beginning to suspect *everyone* now. Who's the traitor? Meldon? Hesin? I really don't think it could be Hesin. At least I *hope* it's not. After all, he nearly died protecting Legolas. Sheesh, you've really got me wondering and I think I'm seeing shadows around every corner now. Me thinks this 'walk' to the cottages is not going to be a good thing. :O I loved how you have Leggy's grief making his healing progress slower than normal. It makes it more realistic and of course, the angst factor...heh, heh. Yeah, you know how I feel about *that*! :) Can't wait for the next chappy. ;) Author Reply: You are right, the walk to the cottage is not a good thing. The next chapter is up now and you can see who the traitor is. Yes, I am afraid Legolas is in for some rather nasty things. Hopefully the storyline will work out as I've planned it. | |

| Oh joy! *does the happy dance* Woo hoo! You're writing a sequel! Yay! You just made my evening! I'm so glad you are taking From Princeling to Warrior further with this story! I just love hearing how Leggy is recovering, er, or in this case, how he's *not* recovering...at least not quickly! ;) Heh, heh! Just love that Leggy angst! From the sound of this first chapter, we might get plently of Leggy angst in this new story, no? ;) Leggy's not eating good, very pale, thin, a bit lethargic, still needs pain draughts to sleep, grieving...hmmmmm, yup, sounds like some good Leggy angst is on the way!!!! :) Can't wait for the next chappy! :) Hurry up! | |
