She begged to come along with us, you know.” - Pervinca I like that; I've even depicted her as being an unofficial member of the 'gang'. The girl is full of spirit. | *applause*!!! Yeay!! They're kissing! He's still yet to go on the Journey--this is going to be interesting... "Pippin helped himself to an ale. “We shall have to interrogate him in the morning, and find out everything that happened.” (Pervinca) I have Pippin and Pervinca doing the same thing in my unposted M&E story. All right--you've talked me into it...I'll scrub it and see about setting it up--after yours is done. You seem to be having so much fun writing this...and you shan't have fun alone! It'll be interesting to see the direction you take (especially if Pervinca and Merimas are married or planning to). Yes, I am having a lot of fun writing this, but then, the hobbits are good for that! There's only a few more chapters to go of this one, then I have to start on the sequel (it won't be quite so happy, but I'll try to put in the amusing parts, like we *both* try to do!). | |

| Alas! poor Fredegar! I think you have written his character well, and I'm becoming too fond of him. Lovely chapter...please keep going! Author Reply: I always loved Fredegar. Not sure why, I just seem to like the random "minor" characters. Plus, he never seems to get enough roles in stories! There isn't too many more chapters to go in this story, but I do already have a sequel planned for it! | |

| Oh this seems like an interesting story so far, loved Frodo's appearance. The hobbits behave very much like the family members and friends that they are, amazing how you can pack that much warmth in one chapter. Off to read other chapters now. Author Reply: Thanks for the review! I don't think I could ever write a story where any of the hobbits were really angry with one another. There's so much love between them, it would be too hard to write them not getting along! Glad yo appreciated Frodo. I've tried not to bash him (I've seen far too many stories needlessly bash a character because the author didn't like him/her). Once again, thanks for reviewing! | |

| Darn! Celandine is a saucy little lass, isn't she? And Pippin's pimpin' it? Holy moly! LoL...let's see if I can keep this straight: Everard is betrothed to Pervinca...Pimpernel is smitten with Berilac...Freddie's running from Melilot...Pippin is in lust with Celandine--thinking he's gonna get more time in the cornfield with her, Merry is in love with Stella (of course), and last, but not least, Frodo is alone with his ring? | This is soooo good! I'm savoring every morsel...when you wrote Pippin in the fields with Celandine--I had to laugh. I paired him up with her in my Merry/Estella story as well...though they rather behaved themselves; just a *very* passionate kiss, but no more than that. Except I did write him...well--I'll have to email you on this one. On to the next... Pippinfan | |

| I was kind of wary of this story after reading the first chapter, but I have -really- gotten into it now!!! The last three chapters have been so intriguing especially this last one! It's interesting how you made Diamond apart of the story now...very clever how you did it too. I cannot wait to see what happens next! Author Reply: If you don't mind me asking, what about the first chapter made you wary? I'll see what I can do to fix it up! But I will agree that I (personally) prefer these later chapters. And I am glad you liked the way I worked Diamond into it. I was a little hesitant about it, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it made sense. Thank you for reading and reviewing! | |
