Unblinded  by Victoria 28 Review(s)

This is the one of the best stories I have read in a long time! Please update soon!

I'm going to go back and review all the chapters one by one as I get some time.

I had a thought on Malgor...mightn't it be interesting for him, the greatest composer ever, to hear modern music? Would he scoff and Beethoven, Bach, and Motzart? Would he tear off his ears in agony at the sound of rap? Just a thought. :-)

Wow, you have added a lot since the last time I saw you. Great job with these chapters!

Ah, Maglor! Feanor's seed yet lives as well! Glad you brought the most even tempered of that crew back. He should prove useful. Do I sense a reunion with the child (or children?) he once fostered?

Author Reply: Yes you do. *laughs* You'll like chapter 15. As to who I 'chose' to bring back, it was Jillian Baade's suggestion, and he's the only one of Feanor's sons that even had a chance of having survived.

". . .to Washington, D.C., the very den of the lion"! Little did I know when I lived there so very long ago!

Fair Vikki, NOW you say you will begin to do "stretchy" things to your readers! Glorfindel with fedex and 747's is no strectch??? I tremble with fear, but shall gather my courage and continue down this path. Do the Valar take 911 calls think you?

Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil

Author Reply: Well, the stretchiness in the content of the next chapter doesn't have much to do with technology, so I don't think it will scare you too much. :)

Elrond with stock splits! *snarf, snarf, snicker!* I am really getting into this. Mayhap it will jump start my "Revenge" story yet again! I have been stuck on it for a time.

Melkor back! Hubba, hubba! He is just so deliciously evil. Back from the Void, we bring you MELKOR!!!!

Ai, Elbereth!

What would we do without Glorfindel? He ever takes on a life of his own even as we say we write him. I tend to look around for a whip when I let him enter my own stories. Dear Old Balrog Slayer!

And Legolas with that herringbone braid down his back! In truth, dost thou know how difficult it is to accomplish a herringbone braid? Only an elf would choose it for everyday attire!

I admit I wasn't keen on the idea of a "modern day" story, but this is proving interesting and well written. I shall continue!

Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil

Author Reply: You are so right about Glorfindel. I love the way he seems to always dance out of reach. And as my hair is short, I have to laugh; I didn't know how hard a herringbone braid is to form. Only an Elf, to be sure - Legolas must be thankful he doesn't have to make one every day.

I'm glad that you are enjoying this story. I hope I can continue to meet you standards of interest. :)

You cannot possibly imagine the joy I felt when I came to SOA today and discovered not only that Unblinded was now posted here, but there were also two new chapters! I have been waiting so patiently for so long for an update to one of my favorite stories. I was beginning to worry that you had given up on this intriguing tale. I hope further chapters won't be as long in coming. Even if they are though, I promise you I will be here to read them.

Author Reply: No, I don't intend to give up on this story any time soon, although my interests can be taken away at times. >__> What did you think of the content? :)

Just thought I'd leave a note to say I'm reading your story! This is an interesting premise, and I like your writing style.

Author Reply: Um, I hope you like the rest, too! :)
