| It's finished! I really enjoyed it, so I am sad to see it finsh, but I am looking forward to your next one. You might think about changing "checkers" to "draughts" as checkers is the American term : ) Really, really good! Author Reply: Thank you for reviewing this one. I am pleased that you liked it. As always, I am glad of the advice concerning the correct terms for things. I will change this later on tonight when I have a minute or two to myself. As to the next one, it has been started and is posted up to chapter two so far. Two more chapters are nearly completed and so "Wizard's Coin" is in progress. Thank you again for the help. | |

| Something weird there. Was I the only one who missed this chapter? If I did, I didn't mean to. Anyway, another good chapter! I'm glad Frodo was able to explain things (even if he didn't and Pearl did). It would seem that Pip has learned to accept things as they come and just go one with life. I'm glad. BTW I love Merry's epithet for him. "Pip Squeak." :D Author Reply: Glad you found the chapter and no you aren't the only one. I did a bone-head thing and flipped two chapters over to hide then realized it later. I am sure several people missed it. Sorry about that. LOL As to Merry's epithet, I have seen it used else-where so I don't think it's original with me. I think it fits the character, though. | |

| Interesting. I'm just glad he got it open. A thing like that would have driven me crazy! I am horrible at those kind of things, and I usually end up deciding that it was a faulty version and there is no solution. Then I give it away. :) At last, he remembers. That's the trouble with stories. Just when you get to what you were looking forward to, there's nothing else to read! Just hope you get your next one going soon. I'll be here to read whenever you are able to post. (Also, if that was the last chapter, you need to indicate that the fic is complete. Right now, according to the summary, it's still In Progress. I always forget to do that, too.) Great story! I'm looking forward to more from my hobbit person! ;) Author Reply: I will change over to completed as soon as I reply to your post. I had some problems earlier today and I think one or two of my chapters got hidden, so you may have missed one when you were reading. Oh wait, it will be, I mean, the other one was your first and it was still incredible! He he he, I just can't seem to escape all of the flattery! Its gotta get annoying after a while.... nahh! | Sorry I've been long in reading this, I've been on vacation. This is a wonderful story, I enjoyed it all (well, except for Pip's unloving parents, but that's just me).
