I have always imagine that Celebrķan was no delicate flower. An action-packed chapter, Nilm! No doubt an eye-opener for the children. Author Reply: That was rather action packed! It was great fun to write these two strong characters - Tolkien told us that Galadriel was strong, powerful and she had fought in battle. I think the twins did get a real eye opener...and Arwen is getting ideas :D

As I told you when I beta-d this, I love the picture of these two female elves as valiant fighters. They're realistic because they have elven strength and reflexes and they've been trained, and Galadriel has even been in battle before. But they're not superwomen. They just bravely do their part as best they can. And I liked the reactions of Elrond and Celeborn, Elrond particularly. They did NOT want to know this. The twins are funny. They're getting a whole new picture of their mother. Author Reply: The poor males....oh well, that's what they get for marrying strong women! I am sure neither Celeborn or Elrond wish for a delicate flower - they are strong males who need strong females to complement them. Although, Arwen is getting ideas, I think.....but then, she did stow away for a trip, so there is some of her mother in her anyway. :-)
