I am so glad they are safe...no how about a follow up with not only Elrond but the twins as well I'm sure they will not let their little brother live this down.

Author Reply: I'm sure that they are, too! I'm afraid that there won't be a sequel. I wanted to end the story on the word "Home" with all the good things that implies. Of course, there will also be ribbing from the twins, and Elrond will give them his tea, a stern lecture and worst of all - the eyebrows. :o)

Yay...at least they got out of that without too much trouble. Is that really the end though? *begs that it is not*

Author Reply: The trouble it took to get out of this mess could have been worse, though I think L & A might argue that point. I'm afraid that it is the end - at least until the next misadventure. :o)

Hooray! At last on the way home, and trusting the horses, who've been both smarter--and luckier--that they!

So glad that last encounter WAS the last one! A fun run of it, though, I must say.

Author Reply: At last! It took a very long detour to get thim to this point. I bet they will trust those horses a lot more in the future. :o)

You, me and a certain elf and ranger, as well. Glad you had fun reading this.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! EXTREMELY DUMB MOMENT! IT'S OVER! LOL! HUZZAH! I really enjoyed this story, and I look forward to more! :D

Author Reply: Yes, it's over, and our guys are on their way home at last. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen. :o) I'm very pleased that you enjoyed this wild and crazy ride.

Huzzah! They are on their way home! I hope Legolas and Aragorn make in back still in one piece. The trolls have been rather crafty in the past, but the creatures aren't known for their smarts. Perhaps our beloved Elf and Ranger are home free! I suppose we shall find out next time... :D

Author Reply: Finally! I have a feeling that they will. What happens when Elrond gets his hands on them is another matter. :o)

The trolls seem to be able to combine that craftiness with stupidity, and fighting among themselves while their prize escapes is proof of the latter. I don't think the horses will let anything happen to L & A.

*grin* It's about time they relied on their horses to guide them out of trouble, seeing as they seem utterly unable to get themselves out! I think Elrond's treatment is going to make them wish they were back inside their nice, safe cage :)

This was great fun. Thanks for sharing it!

Author Reply: I think they should have relied on their horses before they ever entered troll country. I can't help but think that you are right. Elrond's special tea alone might make them rethink their position. :o)

I'm very pleased you enjoyed the story.

I am sniggering at this ending. Perhaps they should have listened to the horses in the first place! I wouldn't want to be in their shoes or boots when Elrond finally gets a look at them nor when Glorfindel sees the horses.
I have enjoyed all of this White Wolf.

Author Reply: I think you may be right. L & A should have asked them if it was a good idea to cross troll territory. It might have saved them a great deal of trouble, tht then, think of the story we would have missed. :o) Neither Elrond nor Glorfindel will be pleased, I'm sure.

I'm glad this was an enjoyable read for you.

Wow! Isn't it nice that Trols, Orcs and other bad guys have as much love for each other as they do for their other victims! So they are able to quietly slip away. And I am sure they can trust their horses's judgement, perhaps better than their own, since they are not in top shape right now. A thoroughly enjoyable ride!

Author Reply: It certainly is nice for Legolas and Aragorn, that's for sure. Qietly slip away being the payoff here. Even then, they were nearly caught again. I think trusting their horses' judgment was a very good idea on their part. Our poor guys didn't even know which way to start out.

I'm glad you enjoyed this wild and crazy ride.

Oh no! I was so sure they were going to get away from the trolls this time. I just hope the different troll factions argue over who gets the prisoners for long enough to give our heroes time to escape.

Author Reply: Oh, yes. Never take anything for granted when L & A get into one of their misadventures. That sounds like a good plan. Now, all we have to do is convince the trolls it's a good plan. :o)
