At least thet are getting water to keep them going. Great start to this White Wolf.

Author Reply: It's for sure the water will be better than the food. :o) Thank you. Glad you like it so far.

A new story. Yay!! No, not trolls. They should know with their luck always go around a known trouble spot or expect to get into trouble. I'm glad you updated this quickly. The food sounds truly terrible. Maybe they should tell the trolls they can't eat that kind of food as it would poison them. If they were poisoned they would not make a meal for the trolls as it might poison them too. Keep it coming I await the next chapter anxiously.

Author Reply: You'd think they'd learn their lesson by now. Legolas usually doesn't want to do it, but he always gives in to Aragorn. Bad move. I wanted the food to sound really bad. I'm not sure the trolls would care much, if they even believed they could be poisoned by such puny captives.

I'll update soon.

Black rabbit? Sounds pretty awful to me. Hope they get something better soon, myself. And Pickett sounds like the right one to have guard them at the moment--they may have a chance with him in time.

Author Reply: I tried to make the food as awful as I could. I'm not sure the trolls will feed our guys now, but we can hope. Pickett was picked because he is young and stupid and not good for much more than guard duty. With luck and cunning, Legolas and Aragorn can use that to their advantage.

Hmm...intersting start.
Though I wonder how they're going to outwit these trolls.
This story is still holding my interest strongly--though I wish you would update a little more often :P

Author Reply: Thank you. I'm sure they're wondering the same thing. :o) Glad you are still interested. I update as often as I can. RL has to be dealt with. *sigh*

OMGoodness!
A start of a new story...and a good one at that.
I've always enjoyed your stories.
update soon-trolls, after all, are stupid creatures, and i hope the twosome can get out soon.

Author Reply: Yes, another adventure. Thank you. I'm glad you like my work.

These particular trolls are not quite as dumb as we might like them to be. I have the feeling our guys may be stuck for a while. That, of course, will mean more story. :o)

They obviously haven't heard Sam's famous "Stone Troll" poem, have they?

Foolish, to wish to save time by placing themselves in such danger of capture. But these trolls apparently are protected under the thick trees, or so it would appear. Or do only mountain trolls turn to stone in daylight?

Author Reply: No, I don't think they've read that one.

They were thinking they could ourtun the trolls, but then we have to have an adventure, don't we? :o) These trolls do not turn to stone, and you will soon see that they don't stay only in the forest.
