The Path Before Me by Cheryl |
Last Updated: 11/4/2004 |
This is movie based and the character of Aragorn in the movies is in some ways very different to his character in the book. To me, movie Aragorn had little faith in his own people, which was understandable considering movie Elrond’s almost pessimistic attitude towards the Race of Men. This story is based on what I think is a pivotal relationship in restoring Aragorn’s faith in his people and resolving the movie character with the book character.

Not Without Hope by Gwynnyd |

Hiding a vulnerable princeling from enemy eyes and concealing his identity until he's grown are certainly the stuff of legends. But even if the legend is true, it probably does not tell the whole story. Would Gilraen have preferred to raise Aragorn as his father's son and not hidden his identity? Would Elrond expect Aragorn's mother to come with him to Rivendell, or would he believe it easier to hide the boy from Replicas de relojes españa, mejor i |

A Gift for Pippin by Gwynnyd |
Last Updated: 11/2/2004 |
Poor Pippin. Here is is traumatized from being exposed to the Eye of Sauron. Everyone thinks he's been really stupid *again* and no one gives him any sympathy for being tortured by Sauron... except Legolas. Pippin really didn't do so badly, when you get right down to it.
With special thanks to Tanaqui, who assured me that I could do this! |
