An Unexpected Adventure [IN HIATUS]  by KathyG

9-28-23: I have received word from Dreamflower's husband that she is in the hospital with a brain bleed, and that it's serious.  He does not know how long she'll be in the hospital, or if she'll be able to sit at their computer when she returns home.  But until she is able to work with me on our story once more, it is in hiatus.  K.G.

10-6-23: I have good news! Today, I received two emails from Dreamflower herself.  I'm sharing part of the first one she sent me here.

“Still in hospital.  On rehab floors probably get home late next week, maybe Thurs.

Don't know how before I'm up to lengthy sessions.”

Once she's up to working on her desktop once more, we'll be able to resume work on our story.  K.G.

12-3-23: I have more good news! After almost two months, I've once again received an email from Dreamflower. At her request, I'm posting the message she has for everyone.

“Hello everyone!  I am still in the land of the living.  That concussion took a lot out of me.

I still am falling asleep unexpectedly, and am still short of breath a lot more.  I'm having to use a Rollator type walker. And most frustrating of all I am not allowed to bend over, so no picking up anything I drop on the floor.
I can't spend a lot on the computer, so I am try to do stuff on the phone, though I am not good at it.  At least I can do a few Quora posts on my phone if I take it slow.

I am not up to a lot of new writing, but I am going to try to repost some more of my older stuff at AO3. If I am lucky, maybe one or two things a day. I asked my physical therapist, and was told as long as I don't over-do it.
Anyway, just want to let y'all know.

We're going to try to work on our story bit by bit, as her strength allows, but when we'll be ready to post another chapter, only the good Lord knows. KathyG
