The Courtship of Merry and Estella

Their courtship was very romantic and Estella couldn`t help but think that Merry tried to make up for the year he`d been away. Each time he knocked at her door he brought flowers or candy or other things that makes a heart melt. He`d stand there looking shy with his cheeks and the tips of his ears slightly red and a smile always played around his lips and his eyes always shined with a laughter and a love she soon learned to know was only for her. He didn`t look much like the warrior who had returned to the Shire in these moments but Estella found she loved him even more for it and threw herself into his arms in sheer joy and he swung her about and their laughs rippled like water over stones and then he kissed her.
