Andrea · 1 March 2008 · Chapter 9: Tulips and Primroses

Tulip still regarded him calmly from her vantage point at his feet. He could have sworn she was actually standing up on her hind hooves with her front ones planted firmly on her round hips, in an eerie impersonation of his mother. LOL!!! Now that's a sight I would have liked to see with my own eyes :) Accompanied by Merry Pippin might get permission to go beyond the border. But what will the little lass do, when she spots Merry? She might as well hide herself. Will Merry be able to see her at all? I'm looking forward to reading more! BTW, I saw your Tulip icon and I like it!

Author's reply

Great! I'm so pleased you're looking forward to more of Tulip and her hobbit lad! I'm working on more Tulip icons - and she's very happy to hear you liked her picture (she's a very sensitive piglet lass).

Pearl Took · 1 March 2008 · Chapter 9: Tulips and Primroses

Oh wonderful!! I love the game of tag in the loft, and poor Merry being overwhelmed with chatter! I love your Paladin as well. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely :-)

Author's reply

Thank you kindly!! I had a great deal of fun writing this one,and I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed it, and most especially my Paladin. Thanks so much for your encouragement!

Larner · 1 March 2008 · Chapter 9: Tulips and Primroses

Ah--excitement--the excitement of mystery as well as of his Merry's arrival! Wonderful!

Author's reply

Yup, excitement is just part of what this little lad is about, huh? Thanks!

Golden · 1 March 2008 · Chapter 9: Tulips and Primroses

Lovely! *L* I had to laugh out loud, imaginen Tulip standing their with hoofs on her sides and when she imitated Pips pout. *giggles* And how exited Pip was finally having his Merry again was so cute! :)

Author's reply

I'm so happy to hear it made you laugh! Thanks so much for reading it, hon!

Andrea · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 8: Pippin (Paladin) Had a Little Lamb

How wonderful! Apparently Paladin did not know how much he had missed his Sammy-Lambie until he saw the new one! And, of course, it had to look just like the original. I also liked Tulip becoming jealous! But I think there's no need, because Sammy-Lambie is Paladin's stuffed animal while Pippin's heart belongs to Tulip ;-) Just one question: What are bows? I didn't find a suitable translation.

Author's reply

Thank you! Oh, I meant bows in the hair, like hair ribbons - something a female normally wears, but not a male!

Agape4Gondor · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 3: Of Snow and Warm Woolies

What an absolutely delightful chapter! What a wondrous sister is Pearl! And, as Pip noted, all without asking. A kind and gentle heart. As for Tulip, my goodness, I would love to see a picture of her in all her finery. I hope it doesn't go to her head! Blessings

Author's reply

Heh, Tulip will soon be showing herself off a bit more, promise! But as far as it going to her head....guess we'll have to wait and see! The Took's are all kind and gentle-hearted, aren't they? Thank you so much for your review!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 8: Pippin (Paladin) Had a Little Lamb

*giggles* Happy father and son. Very sweet!

Author's reply

Glad you liked it hon!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

Another great story!:) But Paladin should really be more cautious what stories he tells his son.

Author's reply

But that wouldn't be nearly as much fun! Thanks Golden!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 6: Tulip Takes a Tumble

Oh I´ve read this story before. Thought I had reviewed it. Oh well..ones getting old. I like this story very much and was very amused ( sorry Tulip I know it hurt badly, but still..) about imagining that little splint on her tail. Hehe.

Author's reply

Thank you again for reading and reviewing this, I really appreciate you comments! So glad you enjoyed it.

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 5: Piggy is, as Piggy Does

*g* Eglantine knows her son very well, doesn´t she? Very Nice.

Author's reply

Yes indeed, she sure does!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 4: Tulip's Tale

*giggels* Love it! And can´t wait till Pip is old enough to get teased about Tulip by Merry. ;)

Author's reply

I'm sure there'll be a story of that nature coming along, I'm rather looking forward to writing it! Glad you liked it!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 2: Out on a Limb

Hehe. Cute. I love it when they share the cookie and Tulip takes that "awfully big bite".

Author's reply

Yep, Tulip does demand her share of everything!

Golden · 23 February 2008 · Chapter 1: Lily Took

Very sweet little story. :) On to the next.

Author's reply

Glad you like! Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it a lot!

Baggins Babe · 22 February 2008 · Chapter 8: Pippin (Paladin) Had a Little Lamb

*giggles* I thought Pad would be delighted by the new addition - even if it does have a pink nose! This was so sweet and I love all your hobbits so much. Looking forward to more.

Author's reply

Awww, again thank *you* so much! Glad you like them!!

Larner · 22 February 2008 · Chapter 8: Pippin (Paladin) Had a Little Lamb

I'm with Pearl here, and would find such a sight precious as well! Dear Paladin, with his replacement Sammy Lambie tucked under his chin. As for all of Paladin's details he misses--the black eyes instead of brown ones, the pink nose instead of a black one, the missing collar--and the terror lest she put ribbons in Sammy's hair! My heavens--no wonder she's dithered! So cute!

Author's reply

Heh, we're seeing a whole new side of Paladin here, aren't we now?

shirebound · 21 February 2008 · Chapter 8: Pippin (Paladin) Had a Little Lamb

Eglantine tried to resist another giggle at the sight of her two lads, huddled together on the bed, each of them clutching a stuffed toy. I can't imagine how this story keeps getting more and more adorable, but it does.

Author's reply

Aww, thank you Shirebound! I adore all the wonderful comments you and others have been posting - it does help me keep finding the stories within! Can't say enough times "thanks" for taking the time to let me know you like the stories!

Neilia · 18 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

Another delightful chapter to Tulip's story...so looking forward to the next. Love, Neilia Oh, Yes, and thank you for letting Pearl tell Tulip's 'birth' story...very enjoyable!

Author's reply

Hi Neilia! Thanks for letting me know once again that you like my wee Tulip and Pip tales!! And I was so flattered that Pearl wanted to write Tulip's birth story. She did a great job, didn't she?!

Baggins Babe · 18 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

I wonder what Tulip will think of Sammy-lambie? That's if Paladin is willing to give him up! I can't wait to see what Pip and his father have to say when the new member of the family is ready. I'm glad Tulip's nose is now mended - poor piggy has had a tough time.

Author's reply

Heh, well we'll see if they'll be sharing Sammy...Thanks again for your wonderful comments! I'm so glad you're enjoying the story thus far!

Larner · 17 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

Aha! All better, and an embroidered snout won't be as easy to break as a button one. And here comes still another toy to watch over the future Thain of the Shire! (BOTH future Thains of the Shire, actually! Heh!)

Author's reply

Yep, Pip needs all the looking out for he can get, huh? Hehe, thank you once again, Bonnie!

Shireling · 17 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

Hi Cathleen Thank you for another lovely chapter Helen

Author's reply

Hi Helen! Thank you, I'm so pleased you're enjoying this!

Andrea · 17 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

“I’m making a new Sammy-Lambie! You and Tulip will have a new companion.” She chuckled. “That is, if you can get him away from your da!” *grins* I'm looking forward to reading about that! With her new embroidered pink snout Tulip will be the most beautiful piglet in all of the Shire, and no mistake :)

Author's reply

Yes, I think she will, indeed! Thanks so much!

shirebound · 17 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

This is *such* a dear story! Pippin watched the operation closely the whole time, every now and then reaching out to hold Tulip’s hoof in support. Awwww.

Author's reply

Thank you once more, Shirebound! I'm so happy to know you're still enjoying Tulip and her hobbit lad!

Pearl Took · 16 February 2008 · Chapter 7: This Little Piggy Stayed Home

Lovely Cathleen! "Pippin stirred at last, and opened one eye to look about the room. That habit always amused her. It was almost as if he didn’t want to bother with the other one unless there was good reason." That is just so adorable :-) Another sweet wee story. Thank you so much!

Author's reply

Heh - thanks Pearl! There's one more last part to this episode that I'm working on, then maybe Pip and Tulip can get on to another adventure. I'm not sure yet what Tulip's going to think of Sammy-Lambie...

Baggins Babe · 9 February 2008 · Chapter 6: Tulip Takes a Tumble

Ouch! Poor Pip - and poor tulip, breaking her nose. I hope Eglantine can mend it. I love your Paladin - just as mischievous as his son, and embroidering the tale just a bit! I'm begining to wonder if Pal does secretly want another Sammy-Lambie!

Author's reply

Thank you! Hmm, I gotta wonder about Pad, too...there certainly was a twinkle in his eye when Eglantine agreed to make another Sammy-Lambie, huh? I'm so pleased you liked my characterization of Paladin, and very glad you took the time to tell me - thank you much, again!

Neilia · 8 February 2008 · Chapter 6: Tulip Takes a Tumble

Delightful! Absolutely Delightful!!!! :D More, please. love, Neilia

Author's reply

Awww, thanks Neilia! I'm so happy you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for taking a moment to let me know, too!
