Larner · 19 January 2011 · Chapter 32: To The End

Yes, to the ends of the world, and then beyond, filled ever with faith that all will be right if he is at the side of one he loves as a brother!

Author's reply

It was a fun challenge to say everything that needed to be said in so few words. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

AzureSkye · 19 January 2011 · Chapter 32: To The End

Following beyond the ends of the earth. Yes, such is the loyalty of Sam. Beautiful, and wonderfully conveys the emotion there, even with only 55 words.

Author's reply

Thank you! Always nice to hear from a new fan! Glad you enjoyed! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Larner · 30 October 2010 · Chapter 31: Light

Ah, how I can hear this plea! Poor Frodo! At least he is not truly alone through it all.

Author's reply

I'm glad you can hear this! Le hannon for stopping by and enjoying. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Lindelea · 26 October 2010 · Chapter 30: The Never-Ending Argument

LOLOLOL! They have eternity to settle the matter. And it's going to take at least that long, or maybe longer... Thank you for a lovely bedtime treat.

Author's reply

I think you are quite right about how long it's going to take! If there's anymore more stubborn than a Baggins, it's a Gamgee who loves a Baggins. :) Thanks for stopping by and enjoy. I still have a note to myself to finish Small and Passing Thing - it's been way too long since I've had a moment to get back there. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Larner · 18 October 2010 · Chapter 30: The Never-Ending Argument

Author's reply

Glad to provide it! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Yes, I think this argument will go on forever. Thanks for enjoying! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Armariel · 16 October 2010 · Chapter 30: The Never-Ending Argument

Armariel · 6 October 2010 · Chapter 29: Help From Above

Nice to see the Valar are looking after him. A different sort of h/c than I'm used to seeing. Sweet! ~~~~~{~@

shirebound · 6 October 2010 · Chapter 29: Help From Above

Is this Este and Irmo? A lovely way to show how the Valar are attentive to Frodo's needs.

Author's reply

Thank you, my dear! *hugs* It's mostly Nienna, a little Este (the second presence) and a little Irmo and Ulmo at the end. I love that they would all want to help for he needed it! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Larner · 2 August 2010 · Chapter 28: Signs of Life

Yes, very good hands indeed.

Author's reply

Thanks for two reviews now, dear Larner! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

puppypersonLOTR · 30 June 2010 · Chapter 26: Connected

I don't usually review (I wish I were better about it), but I've read a number of your stories here on storiesofarda, and enjoyed them all. You're obviously a very good writer, so I'm going to assume you know that already. :) I love the style you write and how you can do the "angsty" stuff without going over the top, I'm sure it's a fine line. What made me actually buckle down and write a review this time is that this particular chapter struck a chord for me. I have a friend who's been dear to me since we were young children twenty years ago, and although she and I have been living in different parts of the country and the world for much of that time, we've managed to stay close. This chapter expresses very much how I feel for her (in the Frodo/Sam sense rather than the romantic pairings you mentioned, though I do think it suits any close relationship very well), and while I enjoy all of your writing that I've read, I wanted to thank you particularly for this poem.

Author's reply

Thank you, my dear! I am so behind on your story, but I will catch up one of these days! I finished the Ithilien chapter and loved the last sentence there about the Black Gate looming ahead but no longer there. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

visions of Elanor and some of the other flowers that Sam and Rosie's bountiful garden would be blessed with How lovely, especially for Father's Day.

Author's reply

Thank you, my dear - glad you enjoyed! Since Frodo spoke of many of these by name long before they were even conceived, I thought he must have found out somehow! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

periantari · 9 April 2010 · Chapter 24: Presents

What a great scene of h/c by Aragorn. Such loving, tender care he gave! This is great! He lastly kissed both his dear friends' hearts in honor of all the sacrifices that had been made. Indeed, they sacrificed so much! I think Sam gave everyone the greatest gift this birthday. "Frodo wouldn't have gone far without Sam." Lovely fic, Antane! I loved every word!

Author's reply

Thank you so much! *hugs* I've been wanting to do this since the first Holy Thursday service I went to a few years ago when the priest is washing people's feet in imitation of what Jesus did and I was struck powerfully by the idea that Aragorn would have done the same with Frodo and Sam and then I added some more TLC on top of that. :) I am so glad you enjoyed! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Armariel · 7 April 2010 · Chapter 24: Presents

Larner · 7 April 2010 · Chapter 23: A Most Sterling Recommendation

And one wonders just what it was that was whispered into his old man's heart to let him know just how important Bilbo should prove!
