"As a small token only of your friendship Sauron asks this," he said: "that you should find this thief," such was his word, "and get from him, willing or no, a little ring, the least of rings, that once he stole. It is but a trifle that Sauron fancies, and an earnest of your good will. Find it, and three rings that the Dwarf sires possessed of old shall be returned to you, and the realm of Moria shall be yours for ever. Find only news of the thief, whether he still lives and where, and you shall have great reward and lasting friendship from the Lord. Refuse, and things will not seem so well. Do you refuse?"

Taters and Thyme by Cuthalion
This was written for a challenge in the "shire kitchen"-community (and I've added the recipe of the lamb stew that Sam cooks during the tale). When his fifth child is about to be born, the midwife (Lily Proudfoot from my saga Before I go to sleep) sends Sam into the kitchen, to ease his nervousness by cooking a good meal. And while chopping meat and plucking herbs, Samwise Gamgee counts his many blessings...

The Dwarvish Flute by Cuthalion
This story was originally written as a part of my Before I go to sleep-universe, a saga that tells the (AU)-love story between Frodo Baggins and the young midwife Lily Proudfoot. But it focuses mainly on Merry Brandybuck, and it stands pretty well on its own. When Merry is in Hobbiton and helps with the haymaking, he meets a beautiful redhead and tries to steal a kiss. This leads to surprising revelations, some childhood memories... and a Midsummer Dance where Merry doesn't dance at all.

Elladan's Trials, For Estel by Ithil-valon
When Estel is taken from Imladris, and Elladan finds a note meant to lead Elrond to a confrontation, can Elladan, Elrohir, and Legolas protect Lord Elrond and find Estel before its too late? This story is AU because Gilraen dies shortly after Aragorn is brought to Imladris. Also, I do not know where exactly Legolas is supposed to have met Estel, but he will meet the child later in this story. Let me clarify. I have completed the story, but it is not all posted yet. Sorry for the confusion. It was MY mistake!
