AAAAAA!Why does everyone have to kill Legolas?!I have yet to read a tale where Gimli bites the big one!

Author Reply: I suppose that's because I don't identify with Gimli, and wouldn't be all that upset if he died! (except I'd feel sorry for Legolas.)

Personally, I write about the characters I care about. I love to put them and their friends through angst.

What to say, what to say... Hmmm, well, I'm not thrilled that Legolas is dead, (understatement of the year) but I like the way he still has a part in the story, even if it is only in flashbacks. Please continue!

Author Reply: Well, his part continues - I'm not pleased he's dead, but had to write this.

EH!!! NOT COOL!!! Not cool at all . . . you have been taking lessons from Cassia and Sio I think!!

A very nice opening chapter though. *grumbles about the cliffie* You really need to keep this going!

FOR MY SANITY!!! O_o

Author Reply: Yes, it's a cliff hanger - and stays there. I hope you like how the story develops!

Yes, I remember this from the MC site. While I think it's an absolutely beautiful story, and I love all the memories that are shared later on, I still cannot understand for the life of me why you, of all people, would want to do something like *that* to poor Legolas! (or to Thranduil, for that matter)

Author Reply: What can I say? It seemed like a good idea at the time. Seriously, it was an idea that hit me, and I had to write it - mostly to trace the various memories people had of Legolas, and how they reacted to what happened.
