Teitho!  by My blue rose 23 Review(s)

"He will bring hope and light to Endor as do the stars," she stated softly, her eyes distant. "On his brow is wisdom, in his hands, healing and in his heat, kindness."

It should give these two great comfort, in the challenging years ahead, to know that their first-born has such a destiny... and that both boys will live long and worthwhile lives.

the fragile glory of the dawn

What a lovely image. This is a wonderful gap filler, very well written.

Dawn has given her hope. I love how she is willing to sacrifice the sleeves of her chemise for Aragorn's sake, and she imagines that it might upset the Elves should they have to clean the bedding. She is quite innocent in her way. Love the details of her wardrobe, in which extra sleeves and the like are used to make it appear she has more clothing than she actually owns. But we know that Aragorn will know both safety and love here, before he must in the end return to his own people.

It was a choice he had to make, I know. And I rejoice that he chose life, and believe that in the end he was also glad, finding that even his most terrible suffering was yet blessed and assisted him to his greater healing in the end.

I am glad that Estel was given the chance to appreciate the history of this circlet. And I do hope that Elrond had the chance to return it as he'd planned for so long. To touch such a symbol of history would be quite the honor.

Oh my, what a marvelous image. I wonder if Aragorn sensed any of this?

I enjoyed this conversation very much. How I would love to see that circlet myself!

A look into a dwarf's mind, is it? Even though I don't care too much about dwarves in general, this is really good. Yes, this was indeed interesting perspective.

And again, your research amazes me, you even remembered that Denethor wore chainmail under his robe. Even his personality and mindset are perfect. Also I love how Gandalf uses Ulmo's words to Turgon to counsel Denethor. You're really starting to show your skills, and I love every moment of reading your stories.

Yes, another chapter! I really enjoyed this one. Your storytelling reminds me of Fiondil, are you sure that you're not him reborn? ^^ I love how you don't present Namo as a villain, he really isn't. He has always struck me as more of a consoler than a judge. I wonder if Tolkien indented that as such, since he portrayed him as grim judge, not afraid of throwing the Noldor out when they rebelled. Anyways, keep up the good work!
