forgive me for the tardiness in reviewing Conquistadora. computer problems are the worst. Anyhoo, I am loving Thranduil with an attitude, I would definitely not want to be on the receiving end of his temper. I am truly enjoying this "who done it" and your Imrahil is wonderful. Can't wait for the next chapter. Author Reply: Thank you! We must apologize for taking so long between installments. Thanks for the timely kick in the pants! :)

Ahhh where to begin? This whole story was lovely and I quite like your Thranduil. Congratulations to you and your husband, the Imrahil fan. You have crafted a decidedly Tolkienesque story with some delightful details that are all your own. I look forward to watching this tale unfold. Shire Rose Author Reply: Thank you so much! It is probably a good thing that there are currently no more chapters or I would be up all night reading this. I find the thought of 4th age Gondor to be so fascinating and I love how you are showing so many different characters and their roles in the new age. (Also I really like your Thranduil. He's the perfect mix of the dangerous king Tolkien warns us about and the good Elven ruler he had to have been to earn his people's loyalty. I am excited to see how he and his elves handle what's to come.) Author Reply: Thank for reading! We're so glad you're enjoying it. Don't worry; the next chapter is well on its way!

Hero points to Legolas for pulling my precious Faramir out of the flames! Nasty assassins! Hopefully the plot will be uncovered before more Elves are killed or they try again to kill Faramir.

Nice description of the markets of Pelargir. Imrahil as "Elessar's bulldog"; very appropriate!

Aw, poor Beleg. Wrong place, wrong time. Falathar is making very evil plans!

Falathar is a scummy slaver; but his son has a blood claim on the Stewardship? I'm wondering who Falathar's wife was...The plot thickens!

Interesting beginning. I enjoyed the extrapolation of Gondor's prosperity in the postwar early Fourth Age, and the look at the preparations of Imrahil's feasting of the Elvenking. Tolkien never called Legolas "Prince of Ithilien", though. That title is Faramir's alone. Author Reply: So glad you're enjoying it! Tolkien never called Legolas much of anything, but we'll grant you the point. We meant he was "a" prince of Ithilien, not THE Prince of Ithilien. :)

Oh my word, I am so anxious for them to finally catch this guy before anything else happens! Eagerly (and somewhat apprehensively) awaiting the next installment. Author Reply: Thanks for reading! :)

Oh no! :-( I hope this does make things far more difficult for them....this whole plot is just so wretched. Very smart of (can't think of assasin's name :-P) to get Falathar's ring, or he would be totally thrown to the wolves when this is all over -- no doubt about that. These are not the sort of Men who can be trusted... It does sound like a great party, though...exactly the type of celebration I would expect from such an occasion. I would hope that the whole thing won't be ruined by this dastardly (heehee) plot...but I doubt it. Thanks for writing! Author Reply: Thanks for reading!
