| hahaha! that chapter kept me laughing and chuckling. It reminds me of when I was first learning to drive and all the mishaps that went with it. My husband taught me, and not a few of the mishaps that happened was me going into a sulk because he yelled so loudly in my ear: "BRAKE!!! BRAKE!!! BRAKE!!! NO, NOT THAT PEDAL, THE OTHER OOOONNNEEE!!!" I was ready to hate him for good before our lessons ever ended, and he thought I was an absolute dunce. I can't ever imagine an Elf failing in the vision and other tests required for driving. And Finrod thinking of what his Atar would think of the Haryon to the Noldoran, waiting in line to be served, is just a bit nostalgic. And he doesn't care for his photograph? So, even the handsome perfection of an Elven prince manages to look "un-handsome" in his driver's permit hahaha! I'm relieved Glorfindel's golden hair didn't turn gray with that driving lesson. Maybe he should try teaching some of the elleth? Thanks for the story. Author Reply: Hi Celeth. I'm sure we all have our own learning-to-drive-mishap stories. *grin* I think by the time Glorfindel is done teaching Finrod he'll tell Daeron, "It's your turn," and then go pour himself a tall one. LOL! At any rate, it will be good for all of them to get their licenses, hopefully before winter hits. And then they get to learn how to drive in snow and ice. What fun! Thanks for reviewing.
