Oh dear--evil cliffie! *grin*

I am wondering about young Fikri; clearly he has some serious doubts about this sacrifice.

I certainly hope that Aragorn is getting closer to the rescue. This is really waiting till the last minute.

I can't imagine a more horrific and nightmarish experience for Faramir. I hope Aragorn is ready to employ all the healing (especially emotional) at his command.

*paces anxiously*

Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review. I'm thinking of assing some extra healing/comfort scenes for Aragorn!

A terrible death to anticipate, and particularly as it will do no good whatsoever toward furthering their purpose. At least the King and Damrod are following, and the two know their business.

Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review.Faramir does indeed face a dreadful futile death. Let us hope Aragorn will arrive in time.

This would indeed cause anxiety to those who cared for Gondor's Steward. Now, to find out what the rebel Haradrim intended to do with Faramir! At least they are not far behind those taking Faramir to Mordor.

Author Reply: Thank you. All will soon be revealed.

Oh, my! I have seen many a tale of dangers still to be fought in Fair Ithilien, even after the war. But this one is a new situation. Just from this beginning I can see why you placed highly in the Teitho challenge. You have a hopeful beginning. The Elven trained King Returned and one of Faramir's own Rangers are on the trail. But will they reach him in time? I have a guess as to their destination. Baradur was destroyed with the One Ring, and perhaps others of Sauron's fortresses or buildings as well. But the Mountain of Fire remains. Thaaat would be quite the irony. One who helped lead the fight against Sauron perishing just like his ring did.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. You make some excellent points and are very near with your guess.
