Well you can't say Eru didn't try! It all boils down to power and who does and does not have it! This is getting very interesting. Let's hope Finrod, er, Quinn is not too sore tomorrow! Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: I suppose you're right, Lynda. I doubt if Finrod/Quinn will be feeling too sore in the morning being an Elf. Glad you are finding this interesting. I appreciate you letting me know. Thanks.

Still reading and enjoying but I am afraid that I have gone back to lurking mostly as offline life is being really difficult. However, I have been (re)reading your early pieces over the holiday and I want to thank you for the great joy they brought me. This chapter is so perfect it gave me goose-bumps. I am in the privileged position of sharing the Christmas Story with people wishing to become Catholic Christians and I often do so through art and the crib scene. I often remember that I have an angel, (with or without wings,) standing by my side. It always seems a long time between updates but it teaches me patience and you are so good about posting reliably - Thank you. Author Reply: Hi harrowcat. You're most welcome. I'm glad my earlier stories have given you much joy and that you found this particular chapter to be so perfect. Using art and stories are a good way to explain things. St. Francis of Assisi is credited with creating the first creche just for that purpose. And while it may seem like it's a long time between updates, at the most it's only four days and aren't you glad it's not four weeks or months or even years! *grin* Thanks for your comments. I very much appreciate them.

First part of the chapter was a fluffy story of having fun on Sunday morning. The second part brought tears to my eyes. I have heard many sermons that did not capture the full wonder of God's gift as well as this chapter. It is stunning and so beautiful. I would not be at all surprised if you had one of the Angels looking over your shoulder while you typed. Thank you is inadequate for each chapter. I simply have no words for the beauty and impact of this chapter. All I can tell you is that I will reread it many times. Author Reply: Hi UTfrog. I would not be all that surprised if there were an Angel or two doing just that. Sometimes I swear I'm not the one writing these stories or at least certain chapters. That the second [art of the chapter brought tears to your eyes surprises me, but I am glad it moved you in that manner. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.
