| Sorry. This isn't a review. It's a couple of requests. I meant to put them in with the review and then forgot. How about the fox that passed through the wood and saw the hobbits sleeping on their way to Crickhollow? Or/and (and would be better as it implies that you'd write both requests) one or more of Bilbo's stone trolls either before or after they turned to stone. Thank you. | |

| Thank you! Loved Pippin's troll poem very much. Also got a chill thinking of a spider the size of Shelob in my bathtub. *shiver* If I ever see anything like that, it will be the last thing I'm likely to see, if you take my meaning. | |

| That last one about the hero at Helms Deep is excellent. My favorite of these is Shadowfax. I like the image of Gandalf turning up at the battle and having to get someone to pay the taxi fare before he can join in the battle and save the day. | |

| Ok, I just had to let you know that Gandalf's still makes me laugh out loud. I came over to read and when I got to that one, I frightened the cat I laughed so loud. And I do agree with Gimli, they could have sent word now and again. They really should have stayed in touch. Author Reply: Okay, scrape the cat off the ceiling!
