Aha. So at last Legolas is awake. Though I bet he wishes he were not. Poor elf. Why must we torment him so? What has he ever done to deserve such torture? Oh, I like it. lol I love how Arwen is stepping out on her own, though still under the protection ofAragorn. :-) Great chapter! Until next time (which will be soon right?:-) Namaarie! Faith

Oh, I hope I'm the number One reviewer here... (evil grin) So, Evil Woman Writer of Doom, you think to tease us all over at the Evil Empire with your plots and plans? Hmmm?? Well-- Well, OK, it worked. :-) So here I am, and oh my GAWD what a fantastic chapter! I feel like I just got off the Apollo's Chariot ride at the amusement park... slow, tortuous climb upward, then a 800 foot precipitous drop into water... Argh!!! From poor Legolas's horrible torment, to Arwen and Aragorn snuggling scruffily in the underground, to the water and the almost free, then (of course because you are EVIL!) not exactly free.... This is just one of the best, tightest, most incredible stories I have ever read, and I get the feeling that in Valinor, Tolkien is wriggling in his slippers with delight as each chapter sees daylight. :-) Well done--OH, well DONE!!! And of course I want to see more, more, more.... :-) May your review count climb higher. Now go read all my stuff here and leave reviews for me, because I suffer from the same disease! Legolas is really in trouble! I liked seeing this from his point of view. The sea longing is an interesting concept. I haven't done the research on it, so I've never been sure if it's a physical illness or just unhappiness. This is a very gripping description of an attack. Wow. So near to escape and yet so far for Arwen and Aragorn.
