| I enjoyed the way Paladin handled that. I like that he let Pippin reason it all out for himself. I also thought Merry did a very good job of stepping in without actually spoiling Paladin's lesson. Now I do hope they find Degger and soon. Your snow storm seems to have turned into a blizzard! Author Reply: They don't get much snow, so anything is considered a blizzard there, lol. I just imagined a steady snowfall. :-) I won't go into the psychology here, but I like the idea of Paladin's transference of his office to Pippin to be a smoothe one, and one that Pippin really benefits from. | Oh, this is very good indeed. I love the excitement here and already we have a bit of a cliff-hanger. I've missed your stories so much and reading this first part reminds me of why. I loved the teasing between Pippin and Degger at the door and I like all of the little touches you put into the story. On to the next part! Author Reply: There aren't as many little touches as I'd have liked, but as I mentioned before, my Muse was a little stiff and out of shape. More next time. :-) I do like for my hobbits to banter, but I'm no comparison to you -- you're good at it! I always laugh my arse off when I read of your hobbits bantering. | Aww...It's so good to see Degger again! What a nice little romance for him, and a bit of an adventure! I like this very much. And I'm glad to see hobbits from you again! I hope that maybe we *will* see some more soon! Author Reply: You're so sweet, Dreamflower! I really meant for Pippin to have centre stage, but the Muse went in Degger's direction. Pippin will get his day soon enough, though. ;-) I have so missed writing, but even more than that, I've missed reading yours and all the stories of my dear freinds here in this community.
