Oh, the Valar are taking an interest in them... I like that! :) I guess I should say an active interest, I'm sure they've always been interested even if from a distant! Amusing image of them in the cafe like that. :)

Author Reply: Thanks, Radbooks. I am glad you liked this. Yes, the Valar have always taken an interest, especially in Glorfindel.

This was funny the first time. It was hilarious the second time. Námo and Estë in a closed café serving pie and tea and drinking coffee and dispensing wisdom disguised as pop psychology, complete with Shakespeare quotes. They played their parts perfectly.

Will the elves get to go home at the end of this story? I hope they do.

Author Reply: Thanks, Pamalokwen. I am glad you found this so hilarious. It was amusing for me to portray these two Valar as if they were humans, especially Este. As for what will happen to the Elves at the end of the story... you will just have to wait and see. *grin*

Lol!! The mental image of lord Namo sitting hunched at the counter in a run-down café sipping coffe and being called Nate, is just too hilarious!!

Author Reply: Glad you found this image of Namo hilarious, Taralome. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

Hm, do I get the impression that 'Someone' has decided it is time for Glorfindel and Company to come Home?
They have been away for far to long.
Namo has always had a soft spot for Glorfindel in spite or may be because of all the problems he caused.
Besides it is time the Twins went home, their Naneth has been waiting far to long for them!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: As to whether the Elves end up going Home remains to be seen. The Valar may have other plans for them.

Intriguing.
Very intriguing.

Clearly there *is* a conspiracy...

And conspiracies are not always bad. Just ask Frodo.

Author Reply: Very true, Dreamflower. Not all conspiracies are bad.

WOW you totally got me with the ending! Way to go. I was already enjoying the story, but I certainly did not expect direct involvement by the Valar. Thanks for a continuing treat.

Author Reply: You are welcome utfrog. I am glad I "got you" with the ending. *grin* That was my intent. Thanks for letting me know how much you are enjoying this story. I really appreciate it.

I'm going to be a bit late for work between weather and giving in to the impulse to read this now, but I had to tell you that this was exactly what I needed to read today.

I was feeling a bit like Glorfindel for various reasons I won't bore you with, and this vicarious chat with "Esther" cheered me up, and got me looking forward to the day instead of continuing in the discontented way it was looking to be.

I love this story, Fiondil. Thank you so much for each new chapter!

Author Reply: Hi, Rhyselle. I am glad that this chapter was just what you needed and that "Esther's" words cheered you up. Thanks for letting me know how much you are enjoying this story. I really appreciate it.

It is rather obvious now that there _is_ a conspiracy - even if Glorfindel is merely suspicious, and not to the point of raging paranoia as yet.

I wondered if perhaps Olórin was going to pop up to, ah, pester one of the Elves. Instead it was two of the Valar.
It shall be interesting to see what they are plotting ;-)
And which of the Valar is going no show up next?

Author Reply: Well, Sunny, as to who may show up later on in the story remains to be seen, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised. *grin*
