| Oh, even if I am now running late for work, it was SO worth it to read this delightful little story of the first snowfall. I wish I could have seen the look on Glorfindel's face :-) Thanks for the morning smile. - Erulisse (one L) Author Reply: It was time for a smile on behalf of all of them. I've written the start of this battle into a series of drabbles I wrote a few years ago, followed by a second depicting Frodo's awakening the following morning and then the single story "The First Snowfall of the Season" in which there is a surprise awaiting those who spent Yule in the King's House on Lake Evendim, in which the explanation is given for the three figures Frodo sculpted. And I can so imagine the surprise by Glorfindel that he's been taken by surprise by a Hobbit! Heh! Glad to start your morning well, Erulisse. | |
