Fiondil's Tapestry  by Fiondil 14 Review(s)

Well it's nice to know where Olorin went when he 'died' on Caradhras, he was a little aragant wasn't he!? By the way where did the Balrog go, for Judgement or straight into the Void to keep Melkor company?
I think I am reading too much LOTR Fan Fic, I am starting to not need the translations at the end of the chapters, is this good or bad:<)!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: I have no idea where Balrogs go when the die, nor do I care, just so long as they don't show up in my closet! LOL

That you are beginning not to need a translation of the Eldarin words is great. It shows that you are learning the language of the Elves without realizing that you are. Of course you cannot read too much LOTR fan fic, just so long as it's the right kind (like mine *grin*). Thanks for reviewing.

*Chortles* And the *punishment* fits the crime, lol...(I've been waiting a long time for that tag line to show up somwhere, *grin*)

Cat

Author Reply: Well, punishments should always fit the crime, even Vorondil knows that much. LOL I'm sure Gandalf wasn't the only person to whom Námo was forced to say that line. I have no doubt that there were plenty of fëar in denial over the Ages.

Hey, you finally got to use your sig in a story! *GRIN* And what a wonderful ficlet it is, too. I'm still laughing.

NiRi

Author Reply: Hi NiRi. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for letting me know. Still working on the next two prompts but it'll be a while before I get them posted.

*drops onto the floor, gasping with helpless laughter* Ai...ai, meldonya!!!!!!! *laughing so hard she's crying* You did promise me...and there it is...Oh...*laughs* Now we know who that unidentified fea is that's been giving Namo grief. *snicker*

"Surely, Lord, you will not make me relive my entire existence from the moment of my Emergence?"

Oh! Oh, poor Olorin...*still laughing helplessly* And to be reminded that he was the one whose idea it was that the Istari could die. *shakes head* I knew he would regret that. I knew it.

And I can't believe that, for all I know of the valaraucar being fallen Maiar, I never thought of Olorin facing a fallen brother when he faced the Balrog. How very odd of me not to realize it until now, lol. *winces* It would be even worse, of course, if the Maia was Olorin's brother in Atar's Thought...I know one of your other Maiar has a (future?) Balrog for a brother that way...*sniff*

"Atar wants you to go back."

"Excuse me?"

*snort*

Námo gave him a sympathetic look. "We know, which is why when you return to Endórë you will be the White, not Curumo. You will be the head of the Heren Istarion."

Olórin started in surprise at that. "Me! But why, Lord?"

Námo gave him a most wicked grin. "Why? Because you’ve been promoted, Olórin," the Vala replied with a laugh, "and I cannot think of a more suitable punishment for your folly."

Olórin gave the Lord of Mandos a jaundiced look, though his eyes twinkled with veiled merriment. "I think, my Lord, that Prince Findaráto has been corrupting you while I’ve been away."

*howls with laughter* Oh, no doubt! No doubt he has!!!!!! I can just imagine...

Now...what happens when Irmo gets a hold of Olorin, meldonya? *innocent grin*

~KAYLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*who is amazed as always by Fiondil's absolute BRILLIANCE*

Author Reply: Did I not warn you? *grin* I always keep my promises (or try to) and this prompt was too good not to use with Gandalf and the scene in Moria. Glad you liked it and that you think I'm brilliant. Thanks.
